Search Configurations
Create your own search configurations by selecting a combination of filters and sources on the Search Configurations page that you can apply to your searches.
You can display and/or hide the search configurations you create in the drop-down list next to the search bar.
- Codes & Standards: enables users to search only in Codes & Standards documents
- All Content: Search everything.
And, if you are subscribed to our UK&I products, you can filter by:
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Food and Drink Safety
- Irish Occupational Health and Safety
- Environmental Management
- Trading Standards Specialist
- Specify-It
You might see other search configurations on this page that your administrator has created. Your administrator may have also refined the two default configurations by including or exempting additional filters and sources.
- To create a new search configuration, click Create New Search Configuration. Select the filters and document sources you want to apply to a search.
- To edit the filters and sources you have selected for an existing search configuration, click
. This opens a dialog box that enables you to configure filters and sources in accordance to your search preferences.
To copy an existing search configuration, click
.
- To display a search configuration in the drop-down list next to the query box in the homepage and the Research application, turn on the switch for it. Turn off the switch for a search configuration to remove it from the drop-down list. Note: You must display at least one search configuration in this drop-down list.
- To arrange the order in which you want search configurations displayed in the drop-down list next to the query box, drag and place your search configurations in the desired order on this page.
