Managing user data
You must be a Data Ownership Management administrator to view this administration page.
To display the Manage User Data page
On the left panel of application links, click
(Administrator), and then
click Manage User Data.
On the left panel, click the name of the user whose saved and/or shared items you want to manage. Use the Search box to find the user you want.
One right side of the page, under Manage User Data, select one or more of the check boxes to manage:
- Projects
- Watch Lists
- Bookmarks
- Queries & Alerts
- Annotations
If you want to manage permissions for specific data items associated with one or more of these sections, click
to display all data items in each section. Select the check boxes of those items you want to manage. (You can select specific data items associated with each of the five sections and then simultaneously manage them with one of the options below.)
Once you have selected the items that you want to manage:
- Click Delete to delete the selected items.
- Click Reassign Ownership to reassign ownership of all the selected user's items. In the Reassign Saved Items dialog box, click on the user to whom you want to reassign ownership of the data items.
- Click Modify Sharing Settings to change the sharing permissions on items. In the Share dialog box, change the sharing settings for one or more users.
Note: You can only change the sharing settings of one data item at a time. Expand the list of data items associated with one of the five sections, and then select the check box of the one item for which you want to change sharing settings.
To reassign ownership of all Projects, Watch Lists, Bookmarks, Queries & Alerts, and Annotations that are associated with a user, click Reassign All.
