ASME Advantage

ASME Advantage is a set of features that empowers you to easily see and understand the relationships between different versions of the same ASME BPVC or NBBI-NBIC document, as well as helps you locate and understand the connections between an ASME BPVC or NBBI-NBIC document and all the other Codes & Standards documents that are referenced within it.

Document Compare

ASME Advantage enables you to conduct a side-by-side comparison of a ASME/BPVC or a NBBI-NBIC document with another version of it that has been published within a two-year time window, either an earlier or later version. When you are working with a ASME BPVC or NBBI-NBIC document in the Document Viewer, click on the Advantage tab to select the document version you want to compare with and display a side-by-side comparison between the document with another version. Or when you see next to a document in your search results, click this icon to open the document compare dialog box, where you can select an earlier or later version of the document that you want to compare.

Dynamic Linking

ASME Advantage presents Dynamic Linking capabilities for all ASME BPVC and NBBI-NBIC documents as a direct way to help you find and see interconnections these codes and other Codes & Standards documents referenced within them. All Codes & Standards documents that are referenced in an ASME BPVC or NBBI-NBIC document that you are working with are hyperlinked, allowing you to instantly access a summary of, or the full contents of that code or standard. When you are working with an ASME BPVC or NBBI-NBIC document in the Document Viewer, hover over one of these dynamic hyperlinks to instantly view publishing details and a summary pertaining to the code or standard, and then click on the link to open a new window to display either the linked document or a summary of the document. Your subscription determines whether you can see the entire contents or a summary of the dynamically linked code or standard.
